I Will Not Be Silent: A Poem

I will not be silent
though the world demands it,

And applauds those speaking out
what they want to hear.

I mourn the great injustice.
Annihilation of our youngest,

Men, women, and children,
sold in slavery across the globe,

The world oppressed by sin,
regardless the color of their skin…

But Jesus died to break those bonds
so ALL may live in freedom.

Simply repent and kneel before Him.
Humbling yourself, cast off your sin.

Reverence and adore Him,
God of the universe, the great I AM.

And until that final call
when the trump shall sound,

I will not be silent.
